All our canine guests are treated to individual care and attention at our Dog Lodge.

Our purpose designed Dog Lodge home away home with heating and cooling for all their creature comforts.

All our rooms have Kuranda Dog Beds with fluffy blankets for the big guys and a cuddly donut on top to snuggle into for the smaller pooches.

Socialisation and fun are key to our guests’ enjoyment with ‘outside time’ for 2 – 3 hours a.m. and 2 – 3 hours p.m. (weather permitting of course). We offer large grassed exercise areas for the more energetic guests and smaller, quieter spots for the elderly or shy. The facilities are comfortable, spacious, clean, hygienic and safe. We welcome inspection prior to booking, during our Business Hours by appointment only.

Morning playtime and breakfast is between 7am to 10.00am and afternoon playtime with evening meal is between 3.30pm to 6pm allowing all guests a siesta or ‘quiet time’ in between which ensures adequate rest and relaxation.

Guests staying with us are treated to a complimentary bath after three nights stay (depending on size & breed) making sure they are going home smelling and feeling great.

We feed Royal Canin suitable for all breeds. If your canine friend is on a special diet we recommend you bring it along for the duration of their stay with us.

Vaccination certificates must be presented upon arrival or prior to checking in. Compulsory for dogs is Distemper, Parvovirus, Para Influenza and Kennel Cough, Vaccinations must be current and administered ten days prior to check-in. Leptospirosis is optional for boarding.

NO VACCINATION – NO STAY – NO EXCEPTIONS

If your dog damages / chews any property of Taupo Pet Lodge extra charges for replacement or repairs will be charged to your account. Strictly No Bean Bags are allowed.
